A picture taken on September 28, 2012 in Paris shows a bronze sculpture by French Algerian born artist Adel Abdessemed displayed in front of the Centre Pompidou contemporary art center, aka Beaubourg. The sculpture immortalizes the "headbutt" given by the French former football champion Zinedine Zidane to Italian player Materazzi during the World Cup final in 2006. Milano – In attesa che si disputi la finale di Champions League tra Real Madrid e Atletico Madrid, nel capoluogo lombardo sarà esposta un statua della celebre testata di Zinedine Zidane (tecnico delle Merengues) a Marco Materazzi.
L’opera è stata intitolata “mio cugino” ed è firmata dall’artista italiano Marco Lodola: si tratta di un’installazione di luce di tre metri, realizzata in plexiglass e led, a ricordo dell’episodio avvenuto nella finale dei Mondiali di Germania 2006, vinta poi dalla nazionale italiana contro la Francia.
Difficile che Zidane, che arriverà a Milano domani mattina, riesca a vederla: il Real sarà concentrato al 100% per provare a portare a casa l’11.a Champions League della sua storia.
