Ecco il programma calcistico di martedì 19 Agosto 2014. Questa sera inizierà ufficialmente la stagione in Champions League del Napoli, impegnato nei preliminari contro i baschi dell’Athletic Bilbao. Poteva andare senz’altro meglio agli azzurri nel sorteggio, anche se la formazione di Ernesto Valverde non rappresenta uno scoglio insuperabile per il Napoli. Questa sera la squadra di Benitez punterà molto sul fattore campo in vista del ritorno al San Mamés della prossima settimana.
Nella scorsa edizione della Champions proprio al San Paolo il Napoli ha ottenuto i migliori risultati vincendo contro Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund e Marsiglia, uscendo di scena solo per la differenza reti nonostante i 12 punti conquistati complessivamente nel girone. Sia il Napoli che l’Athletic si sono presentati a questo appuntamento con gli organici al completo anche se, almeno per quanto riguarda gli azzurri, il calciomercato è ancora in pieno svolgimento e la rosa dovrebbe venire ulteriormente rinforzata nelle prossime settimane.
L’unica novità nell’undici titolare degli azzurri rispetto alla scorsa stagione sarà il francese Koulibaly, mentre gli altri 10 giocatori saranno tutti volti noti al pubblico del San Paolo. Secondo le indiscrezioni della vigilia Benitez pare sia intenzionato a puntare su Britos nel ruolo di terzino sinistro, preferendolo a Ghoulam, mentre sulla trequarti, insieme ad Hamsik e Callejon, dovrebbe giocare Insigne e non il belga Mertens.
Sempre per quanto riguarda i preliminari delle ‘piazzate’, questa sera scenderà in campo anche l’Arsenal di Wenger in casa dei turchi del Besiktas, mentre il Bayer Leverkusen se la vedrà con i danesi del Copenhagen. Due invece i match degli spareggi tra i campioni nazionali in carica: Salisburgo-Malmö e Steaua Bucarest-Ludogorets.
